Pablo Picasso’s ‘Mousquetaire et nu assis’ Will Be Sold At Christie’s London

Christie’s will sell Pablo Picasso’s  “Mousquetaire et nu assis”. Price is estimated between £12 million  and £18  million, the painting is among the auction’s top lots. The canvas was painted in 1967, six years before Picasso died and is one of the first times the figure of the virile musketeer appeared in his work. Picasso represented himself in his arts in the guise of the adventurous, virile musketeer. The painting also depicts Jacqueline as a seated nude, the artist’s final great love, muse, and wife. The painting was last offered by Christie’s at auction in 2007, when it sold for £6.7  million with fees.
